What is happening?

Install or media fails citing insufficient storage even when some space appears free.

Why this might happen

  • Cache bloat
  • Duplicate media
  • System reserved space

What to check first

  • Settings → Storage breakdown
  • Large WhatsApp media folders

How to fix it

  1. Clear cache inside app settings.
  2. Move backups to PC or cloud and delete local copies.
  3. Uninstall unused apps before APK upgrades.

  2. Delete large videos you already saved elsewhere
  3. Clear cache (not data) inside app settings
